This is Esdee.

What do I say about myself?
Hmm...

For years, I climbed the corporate ladder;
from near New York to Kansas
to sunny ol’ California —
my days reduced to calendars,
meetings, and glaring screens.

More than a decade passed
from support center desks
to the Director’s chair —
until one fine day,
I walked away from the hustle.

I became a caregiver
when my family needed me most;
but domesticity alone wasn't enough —
leading me inward for answers
under the guidance of a monk.

Somewhere between family life
and years of spiritual practice,
my mind grew quieter —
peace arrived gradually,
and the Divine no longer felt distant.

Along the way, writing returned
as naturally as breathing;
words flowed with ease —
first through blogging,
and eventually into books.

What comes next, I cannot say.
I no longer chase anything.
I just keep walking —
trusting the Divine completely
and flowing on like a river.
